Biography:
Sanjay Dutt, son of Nargis and Sunil Dutt, made his debut in Rocky (1981). Sanjay grew up as a drug addict and was given a new lease of life after his father sent him to a rehab in the US.He starred in a few memorable films in the 80’s, like Naam and Hathyar, In 1991, he had two big hits in Sadak and Saajan. The following year gave him his breakthrough role—Khalnayak. It was a huge hit and Sanjay enjoyed immense popularity. However, this was shortlived as Sanjay was arrested in the same year for illegal possession of arms. He remained in jail for 18 years. On his return, he delivered three consecutive hits.
