Lara Dutta is an Indian Film Actress and Miss universe 2000. Lara Dutta was born in Uttar Pradesh. She Graduated from University of Mumbai. Lara Dutta Started her Modeling career and represent India in Miss Intercontinental in 1997. She won the award. Lara Dutta won the Femina Miss India Universe and Miss Universe Award in 2000.
Lara Dutta started her acting career with a Tamil Film which was released in 2004. She made a Bollywood debut by the film “Andaaz”. This film was a big hit. She got award for this film. After “Andaaz” Lara Dutta appeared in numerous Bollywood films. Some of her major hit films are “Masti”,“Kaal”, “No Entry”, “Bhagam Bhag”, “Partner”. In the year 2009 the film named “Blue” is released. She got special training for swimming for this Movie. She was afraid of water because of unpleasant occur in the shoot of the film “Andaaz” She was almost drowned but Akshay Kumar saved her. After that day she was afraid of water and can’t swim. When she got role for the film “Blue” Akshay kumar who is also part of this movie encouraged her to get training for swimming. So with support of co-actor Lara dutta had done the job.
